Salthill Renovation

Project overview
This project involved the construction of a 60 sqm rear extension delivered to builders finish, alongside a full energy upgrade and retrofit of the existing home.

Works included
The works included demolition of existing utility and playroom spaces, followed by full groundworks, excavation, and raft foundation construction with full site clearance.

A new rear extension was constructed with structural steel, roofing system, and external finishes including triple glazed windows and doors, render, and timber cladding.

Internally, the extension was completed to builders finish, including insulation, screed, plastering, and full first and second fix electrical and plumbing installations.

The existing house was upgraded with a full heating and ventilation retrofit, including installation of an air to water heat pump system, hot water cylinder, underfloor heating to the new extension, and upgraded radiators throughout the original home.

A mechanical ventilation system was installed to improve air quality and overall energy performance, along with full system commissioning and controls.

Plumbing and heating systems were fully upgraded throughout, including new pressurised water setup and integration with the upgraded heating system.
