Achieving the best energy performance starts with improving the building fabric before introducing renewable technologies.

Our building fabric improvements may include:

External wall insulation
Internal wall insulation
Floor insulation
Roof and attic insulation
Triple-glazed windows and doors
Airtightness improvements

By upgrading the building envelope, homeowners can achieve greater comfort, improved BER ratings, and better long-term energy performance.

SEAI

Premium Fabric & Insulation Grants

  • Advanced External Wrap Insulation:

    • Grant Amount: Up to €8,000 for detached homes (€6,000 for semi-detached).

  • Internal Wall Insulation (Dry Lining):

    • Grant Amount: Up to €4,500 for detached homes (€3,500 for semi-detached).

  • Floor Insulation:

    • Grant Amount: Up to €2,000 (included as part of the overall central heating/fabric upgrade routes).

  • Roof & Attic Insulation:

    • Grant Amount: Up to €2,000 for detached/semi-detached homes.

  • High-Performance Windows & Doors (Standalone Grant):

    • Grant Amount: Up to €4,000 for windows (detached) and €800 per external door (max 2 doors / €1,600 total).
